Continuing with my “Many Different Faces of Arthur” series… which it wasn’t supposed to be originally, but has sort of become… here’s a look back at Art and Leaf in their original forms… sorta. I did up a full post on the history of Cinematic for The People here (Out With The New…) and have the resurrected archives (what’s left of them, anyway) for the original Cinematic For The People comic available here (CFTP Archive).

Sorry this is a teeny bit late. Last couple of weeks have been slightly odd. Will hopefully still have a new comic for Friday.
Starting with this comic going forward, the “in universe” comics featuring Art, Leaf, Hubris, Horn, and the Apple of Discord Players will probably not have an opening title most of the time, unless it’s a specific set-piece. That’s to try and bring a little more continuity to the individual comics, as well as to make the special stand-alone comics stand out a little more.
And for those of you who never got around to reading the cast page… yes, Art and Doyle are brothers. They have a sister (never featured in the comic) named Connie, making them Arthur, Connie, and Doyle. Because their parents loved Sherlock Holmes almost as much as they loved making their children suffer.
I had seriously planned to do a lot more with this year’s Halloween Cameo Caper than I was able to. But, you know… baby. Still, thought I’d get at least one last parting shot in before events completely wrap down. Panel 4 is supposed to be the feet of Bat Bot (aka Mantooth) of Mantooth Soundsystem. No idea who that blob is in the last panel, other than that he did not actually participate in the event.
This is part of my contribution to the 2009 Crossover experiment here. There will be more.
