So now you know the horrible, horrible truth.
Art and Leaf were originally minor characters in my original comic, a sprite comic which is now blessfully hidden from the majority of the internets. A year or so in, they were spun off into their own “side” comic called Cinematic For The People, which ran once a week, and featured a faux spritetastic movie poster and (hypothetically) a review of said movie… the catch was that the comic came out on Fridays, meaning that Art and Leaf (and by extension, myself) had not actually *seen* the movie they were reviewing. This became a recurring theme later on in the series.
Also, here’s a non-shrunk-to-fit version of the poster. I’ve got an even higher resolution one of these lying around somewhere, I’ll see if I can’t find it in the coming days. Compare and contrast to the actual poster for the full funny.

There’s a lot of cameos going on here…
Panel 1 – Alexis and Jeff from The Insanity of Xade stop long enough to realize that a great force of… something… has been unleashed…
Panel 2 – The News Guy (original form, this IS set in the past) from Slightly Off Topic files a report on the sudden outbreak of arrows sticking out of people.
Panel 3 – Delta reassures DeeDee (both from 2nd Shift) that they’re safe. Also, Bob from I’m Not Bob makes the mistake of thinking anyone at Copy King actually WORKS.
Panel 4 – Martin and Amuletts of Epic Fail contemplate the risk-cost ratio of trying to locate the mysterious Archer

Recently stumbled across some of my original notes from over a year ago and realized I never told the ‘origin’ story of Sir Vivor, the “Last Knight of Redshirtia”… I just started having him show up. So, in the tradition of many other hack comickers, here’s a brief interlude into Sir Vivor’s past.
