Fletcher (The Archer)
Full name: Fletcher Gamble Morgan, aka The Archer of Discord
Occupation: Violinist (and occasional assassin)
Appearance: Caucasian, shoulder-length burnt-orange hair. Wears a green shirt with one of those [?] blocks on it from that one video game. As “The Archer of Discord”, Fletcher has a pointy orange goatee and wears a 2-tone green tunic and a brown quiver holding his arrows.
Personality: Fletcher and The Archer are almost two entirely separate personalities sharing one body. Fletcher is usually laid back and agreeable… up to the point where he has what is probably considered a psychotic break, where he manifests The Archer persona. The Archer is a ruthless and efficient killer (not that most of the people he shoots stay dead, much to his dissatisfaction) who considers himself a guardian of ‘the universe’ and other grandiose concepts.
Relationships: Fletcher went to school with Art and Steve. The Archer is often seen hanging out and working with Sir Vivor. Neither have had any on-screen romances (yet), however The Archer has a (possibly) unhealthy fascination with Jenny Everywhere (the real one) due to her reality-hopping abilities, which are similar to his.
Powers and Abilities: Arguably, becoming The Archer is Fletcher’s power, however the transformation is rarely ever voluntary. The persona of The Archer would probably be just plain ol’ fashioned insanity if it weren’t for the fact that the position of The Archer seems to imbue him with supernatural powers, like the ability to jump from one reality (webcomic) to another at will and to generate special arrows that can strike his targets at their weakest points.
Other Appearances
In the “Year Two” preview comic, Arthur appears in the final panel wearing a modified Archer outfit (quiver and a black Zorro-esque mask) claiming that “…there will always be an Archer”… but since that comic was accompanied by the caption ‘Stuff we’re completely making up!’ the canonocity of that incarnation of The Archer is unlikely at best.
Fletcher (and The Archer) both appear in the WAGON Webcomic Battle Card Game.
