You may have noticed that Monday and today (Wednesday)’s comics were a little different than usual… most notably, the “To be Continued” at the bottom corner. Also, the lack of actual specific jokes, and the slightly lower and less-adventurous quality artwork. There is a reason for all of this…
As some of you may know, I am participating in the 24-hour Comic competition on Saturday. This Saturday, I will be telling one single ongoing story across 24 pages. I can’t tell you what all is going to happen (the rules say no detailed planning of the story ahead of time), but it’s going to be awesome.
Now, due to my work schedule (I work 3rd shift), I won’t be starting mine until Saturday afternoon/evening… I’m shooting for somewhere in the 6pm EST range. Since there’s going to be a lot of comics going up in a relatively short period of time, I won’t be Comicpress-posting all of them – instead, they’re going to go on their own seperate page here where you can watch the ongoing adventure and the results of this week’s events as they happen. Also, my friends and cohorts over at [i]nsignificant comics may be hosting a blog-blog for this too, so we’ll see. If so, I’ll have a link up for that shortly.
